About The Event
We are delighted that Cholsey Meadows resident and former Olympian, Tom Farrell, is speaking at Cholsey Great Hall on Thursday, 25 July about his experiences ahead of the Paris Olympics.
The Olympic Games 1896-2020 - The Highs and Lows - is an illustrated talk raising money for research into PICKS disease (early onset dementia). Tom competed in the 1956 and 1960 Olympics and went on to be Chaplain to the GB Athletics Team at the ill-fated 1972 Munich Olympics.
Join us at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be provided. Tom is requesting £10 entry to aid research into PICKS disease.
