Cholsey Short Mat Bowls Club, “The Canaries”, was established in 2014 at The Great Hall by a small group of enthusiasts. Not only do we offer fun social bowling for members on Tuesday evenings - 7:00 to 9:30pm and Thursdays afternoons - 1:30 to 4pm, but also for the more competitive members “The Canaries” are serious contender in the Oxfordshire Short Mat Bowls South and Vale leagues. Membership is currently open to new members from age 18 years upwards.
